Tom Delonge responds to alien rumours

Recent reports have claimed that former Blink 182 guitarist Tom Delonge quit the band to devote his time to UFO research. In a recent interview with Mic Tom said “I can’t tour nine months out of the year with enough time to do the enormity of what I’m setting out to do”. Sparking controversy and ridicule against him in related music scenes.

He has recently responded to these claims, in the form of a Facebook post. Tom states “Quitting the band to search for UFOs? Hahahaha! WTF is wrong with you media?” he wrote. “I’m actually talking to Travis [Barker] about us right now… Never did quit, remember? But am I currently working with people in the government? YES. Including leadership from [Department Of Defense], Intelligence and Executive Branch? YES. Just wait for the documentary before considering ridiculous headlines”.

Blink have since replaced Tom with Alkaline Trio singer Matt Skiba before playing some small shows and releasing their new album
